CATFISH FESTIVAL. In 2011 the 20th annual Dubuque Catfish Festival was moved from June to Memorial Day weekend.  The event, hosted by [[GINTER, Donna|Donna GINTER]], was named for the catfish dinner deserved to help subsidize the free Thanksgiving dinner offered each year to people in need.
