COOPER & SMYTH. According to the 1857-1858 Dubuque City Directory, this business was located on Locust between Jones and Dodge. The 1868 Guide, Gazetteer and Directory of the Dubuque & Soux (sic) City Railroad stated that this business was located at Locust between Locust between First and Jones.
The 1867 Dubuque City Directory gave the address for this business as the west side of Locust 4 south of Jones.
The 1870-1871 Dubuque City Directory gave the address of this business as the west side of Main between 10th and 11th. The same address was used in 1880.
