KEY CITY BARREL COMPANY. Key City Barrel Factory was established in 1868 by T. C. Pringle and S. A. Atherton on Iowa, between Second and Third STREETS. On the July 22, 1879, the factory was destroyed by fire, resulting in a loss of $18,000, but was immediately rebuilt, completely furnished, and again in operation during the succeeding winter.
