DIAMOND JO CASINO. Opening on December 11, 2008, the $84 million Diamond Jo Casino was a 188,000 square foot entertainment complex at the Port of Dubuque. It included more than 923 slot machines, 17 table games, 5 poker tables, 157 plasma  televisions a thirty-lane bowling center with two party rooms, three restaurants, three bars, a broadcast center and a 5,000 square foot meeting and banquet center.
