SIEVER'S EUROPEAN HOTEL. The 1874-1875 through 1878-79 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located at 229-243 7th. In 1885 this location was referred to as LUTHER'S EUROPEAN HOTEL.
According to the 1880 and 1883 Dubuque City Directory, his restaurant was located at 261 Main. A bar and hotel operated by him was located at the same address.
