TOEPEL, William V. (Galena, IL---Dubuque, IA, May 3, 1962). The founder of the Dubuque Foundry Corporation in 1918, Toepel was also involved in the cigar box business in Galena, Illinois for many years.

Active in the community, Toepel served as chairman of many fund drives for charities. He provided the [[STATUE OF LIBERTY MEMORIAL]] in [[WASHINGTON PARK]] to the Boy Scout Council for Dubuque. He was a past president of the Iowa Northeast Council of Boy Scouts and received the Silver Beaver Award.
