SCHULER, John. (Luxemburg, Germany, Apr. 3, 1825--Unknown). Schuler emigrated to the United States and came to Dubuque in May, 1855. He worked at the carpenters' trade for eighteen years and then began the grocery business,

He married Miss Elizabeth Haerten, a native of Germany, on Feb. 2, 1854; they had seven children.
