Part machinist and part steeplejack, Haber performed a breathtaking headstand on the steeple of St. Francis Xavier's Basilica in Dyersville in 1908. He repeated the stunt at a church in Guttenberg where the priest bet him he could not do the trick. The priest lost, and Haber gave the beer he won to bystanders.
