MAUER, Noel. (Dubuque, IA-- ). Noel Mauer drove and raced a '32 five-window coupe powered by a tri-power Flathead, that had been a high school shop project. Noel's coupe was featured in the November 1960 issue of Rod & Custom.
Noel was a member of the SLO-POKES Car Club in Dubuque. In the 1960s, Mauer and Bob Willis teamed up to build and race a nitro-burning, Hemi-powered, front-engine rail.
