GARFIELD HOTEL. It has been suggested that on this site WARTBURG THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY opened in Dubuque.

The 1890-91 Dubuque City Directory listed 1001 for the Garfield House.

The 1911-12 through 1977 Dubuque City Directory listed 511 Garfield.

This building was still standing in 2010.
