PERRON, Gerald. (Dubuque, IA-Dunedin, FL, Jan. 15, 1980). Captain, U.S. Coast Guard. While stationed at the Marine Inspection Station in Dubuque from August 1965, through July 1969, Perron led the Disaster Control Group during one of Dubuque's most disastrous floods. For his leadership during the flood of 1969, Perron received the Coast Guard Commendation Medal.
