HUFF, James. (Prairie du Chien, WI, Mar. 11, 1938--Dubuque, IA, September 14, 2026). Following his graduation from Madison Central High School in May 1955, Jim attended the University of Wisconsin. He graduated in 1961 with a degree in metallurgical engineering. He served his country in the United States Army from 1956 to 1961. He completed his MBA from Drake University in 1979.

He served his country in the United States Army from 1956 to 1961. He completed his MBA from Drake University in 1979.


On August 29, 1959, Jim married Sue Strand. Together, they built a loving family and shared more than 67 years of marriage. Jim was the proud father of Steven (Teresa) Huff and Catherine (Mike) Van Paemel. His family was his greatest joy, and he took great pride in watching his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren compete in swimming, playing the violin and cello in orchestra and all other activities.
On August 29, 1959, Jim married Sue Strand. Together, they built a loving family and shared more than 67 years of marriage. Jim was the proud father of Steven (Teresa) Huff and Catherine (Mike) Van Paemel. His family was his greatest joy, and he took great pride in watching his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren compete in swimming, playing the violin and cello in orchestra and all other activities.
