A board member and past vice president of [[DUBUQUE MAIN STREET, LTD.]], she was also a board member of the [[DUBUQUE GIRLS' CLUB]] and the Northeast Iowa Council of Boy Scouts.  Burbach held memberships in the Dubuque Ambassadors and the National Catholic Basketball Tournament hospitality committee. She was active on the "Dubuque..and All That Jazz" committee, a summer promotional activity which featured bands performing on [[TOWN CLOCK PLAZA]].
