KAMMANN, Augustus. (Westphalia, Prussia, 1828--Dubuque, IA, Oct. 25, 1890). Kammann came to the United States in 1849 and to Dubuque in 1868. He formed a partnership with August KAISER after being in the vinegar business for one or two years.
In 1878, Kamman was elected president of the GERMAN BANK.
