RAVE (THE). The Rave opened for Dubuque teenagers on May 7, 1993. Located at 660 Iowa Street the all-teen night club featured dancing, pool and video games. There was no liquor sold and staff were adults. The hours were 7:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. Thursday through Sunday.

Customers paid a cover charge between three and five dollars. An additional dollar was charged if a person left and then returned to the club. Customers who were suspected of having alcohol were not allowed in and fighting at the club resulted in a permanent suspension. No loitering was allowed in the parking lot which was supervised by an adult.
