CHASE, Mike. (Des Moines, IA, Sept. 15, 1938-- ). Chase earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at Iowa State University. He went to work for INTERSTATE POWER COMPANY in Dubuque and other cities as the company constructed power plants.
In 1991 Chase became vice president of power production and was named executive vice president in 1995. He became the president of the company in October 1996 and added the title of chief executive officer on January 1, 1997.
