BURCH, James M. Jr. (Necedah, WI, Dec. 21, 1887--Dubuque, IA, Jan. 14, 1969). The son of James Merrill BURCH and Mary Louise (Darling) Burch, James was a 1908 graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Burch was a founder, past president and past chairman of the board of the DUBUQUE BANK AND TRUST COMPANY. He was also past president of MIDWEST LUMBER COMPANY, Robert's Sash and Door of Chicago, Loetscher-Burch Company of Des Moines, Farley and Loetscher of Sioux Falls, KEY CITY GAS COMPANY, and FARLEY AND LOETSCHER MANUFACTURING COMPANY.
