NORTHWESTERN FARMER AND AGRICULTURAL JOURNAL. This newspaper was started in 1856 in Dubuque as the first agricultural paper in Iowa. Published by Mark Miller, the paper moved to Des Moines in 1859. It continued to be published until its merger with the Homestead.
