Absent while raising a war party, Aquoqua missed the visit of [[PIKE, Zebulon|Zebulon PIKE]] in 1805. Pike noted that the chief was also called in French "La Peau Blanche" (White Skin). Aquoqua visited with [[SCHOOLCRAFT, Henry Rowe|Henry SCHOOLCRAFT]] in 1820.
