TEGELER, Edward B. (Dyersville, IA-Dubuque, IA, July 7, 1980). Founder, Tegeler's Incorporated. A member of the Asbury Town Council and former mayor of the city of Asbury, Tegeler was active in aviation and helped establish the first Dubuque airport through the founding of Tri-State Airways in 1930.
Tegeler served as a commander of the Civil Air Patrol during World War II. From 1963 to 1965 he was a member of the Dealers Advisory Board of American Motors Corporation.
