BUTLER, Edward Solomon "Sol." (Wichita, KS, 1895-Chicago, IL, Dec. 1, 1954). Athlete. Butler, while a student at Dubuque's German College (now the UNIVERSITY OF DUBUQUE), came close to winning a gold medal in the 1920 Seventh Olympiad in Belgium.
