The 1861 Dubuque City Directory listed a grocery at 3 1/2 Main.
The 1865 Dubuque City Directory listed Main between 4th and 5th for this wholesale and retail grocer.
The 1870-1871 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business, a grocery, was located on the west side of Locust between 1st and Jones. He was also a wholesale liquor merchant at 3 Main.
The 1873-74 Dubuque City Directory listed a grocery at 5 Main.
The 1874-1875 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located at 113 Main. He also operated a grocery at 103 1st.
