Jaeger, the son of pioneers who had come to Dubuque from New Orleans, Louisiana, was counted among the early pioneers of Dubuque. JAEGER, Francis. (Sageville, IA, July 18, 1842--Dubuque, IA, Aug. 7, 1912). Merchant. Jaeger was an organizer of the John Peter ELLWANGER Company, D.C. Glasser Tobacco Company, and the Jaeger Kunnert Company. He was a director of the Dubuque HIGH BRIDGE Company.
