EDWARDS, Frank C. (Epworth, IA-Houston, TX, July 5, 1975). Dean of Educational Research and Development, Austin College. From 1944 to 1946 Edwards, a magna cum laude graduate of the UNIVERSITY OF DUBUQUE, participated in the Manhattan Project that developed America's first atomic bomb. He then remained with the Atomic Energy Commission as a researcher unti11950.
