ADAMS, William. (Wadena, IA, Nov. 2, 1882--Dubuque, IA, Mar. 12, 1957). Manager, CARR, ADAMS AND COLLIER COMPANY. Adams began work for Carr, Adams and Collier in 1920 and was later transferred to St. Joseph, Missouri, as a branch manager.
Adams was an active supporter of the BOY SCOUTS, serving as a Northeast Iowa council representative on the national board of directors. In St. Louis, Adams received a Pony Express Scout Council honor for his support.
