WASHINGTON GARDENS. The 1870-1871 Dubuque City Directory stated that this site, one of Dubuque's BEER GARDENS, could be found on the northeast corner of Eagle Point Avenue and White. John M. Calonder was the proprietor.
The 1884-1885 Dubuque City Directory listed the corner of Eagle Point Avenue and Jackson as the address.
