MORRIS, Joel. (Waukegon, IL-- ). Superintendent. In 1996 Dr. Morris was named superintendent of the [[DUBUQUE COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT]] succeeding Dr. [[O'HARE, Marvin|Marvin O’HARE]]. Morris came to Dubuque from the superintendency of the Community High School District 94 in suburban DuPage County, Illinois. In his former position, Morris saw the district become the only DuPage County school to be recognized as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the State of Illinois and the United States Department of Education.
