CHICAGO, BURLINGTON AND NORTHERN RAILWAY COMPANY. Chicago, Burlington, and Northern Railway Company (CB&N) (1887-1899) built the railroad line alone along the west bank of the MISSISSIPPI RIVER. The CB&N merged into the Chicago Burlington & Quincy in 1899.
