One of the four founders of DUBUQUE MAIN STREET, LTD., he served as the president of the DUBUQUE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE in 1988-1989 and a member of its board for seven years. McGeehan is a former member of the GREATER DUBUQUE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION.
