He served as its president for twenty-nine years. Glab also served on the board of directors of the DUBUQUE-WISCONSIN BRIDGE, AMERICAN TRUST AND SAVINGS BANK, and the DUBUQUE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
In 1949 he was one of the first members of the board of directors of the DUBUQUE REALTY COMPANY. (1)
