CORRANCE, Hugh. (Lanarkshire, Scotland, Nov. 20, 1839--  ). Grocer. Corrance came to the United States in 1863 and immediately came to Dubuque. He worked as a clerk in the firm of Mulligan & Hentrager and later was employed with John Mehlhop.  In 1870 he began his own business and opened a grocery store with P. P. Saddler in the firm of Saddler & Corrance. He bought his partner's interest after two years and continued the business on the northwest corner of Thirteenth and Iowa [[STREETS]] on his own.
