Encyclopedia Dubuque is written and edited by Randolph W. Lyon. Images are provided by Robert Reding, Norman Zepeski, and many others. The encyclopedia website is maintained by staff at Carnegie-Stout Public Library using MediaWiki software. Angela and Ransom Briggs helped establish the site in 2008.
The encyclopedia was made possible by a grant from the Dubuque City Council’s 175th Anniversary Celebration Committee.
