The 1861 Dubuque City Directory listed a grocery at Clay and 11th.
The 1865 Dubuque City Directory listed Main between 6th and 7th.
The 1867 Dubuque City Directory gave no address for this business although it was listed.
The 1870-1871 Dubuque City Directory gave the address of this business as the southeast corner of Clay and 11th.
The 1874-1875 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located at 419 Main.
The 1875-1876 through 1886-1887 Dubuque City Directory gave 1096 Clay.
