Eisenhower took on a unique role in the [[DUBUQUE COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT]] when [[HELEN KELLER SCHOOL]] was built on the same grounds. Keller and Eisenhower were combined in 1990 using the name Eisenhower School.
