WAGNER, A. (Germany, Mar. 30, 1833--  ). Manufacturer and dealer in all kinds of furniture. Wagner emigrated to America in 1848. He lived in New York for ten years and came to Dubuque in July, 1857.  Wagner began working at his trade and entered the furniture business for himself. He manufactured and did upholstering while employing from five to ten men. His business was located in the Tremont House Block, Eighth Street, Dubuque.
