POOLE, GILLIAM AND COMPANY. The 1873-74 Dubuque City Directory listed 42 Main.
The 1874-1875 through 1880 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located at 272 Main.
The 1884-1885 and 1886-87 Dubuque City Directory listed 264-272 Main.
The company announced in June, 1876 that it had added fire works to its other merchandise. (1) It was announced, however, in May 1890, that the company was going out of business due to lack of sales. (2)
