GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION MAPPING SYSTEM. In February 1997 the announcement was made of the $1.5 million mapping system being prepared for the City of Dubuque. To prepare the maps, the city sent fifty different sources of information to MSE Inc., the Indianapolis company responsible for the project. This information was converted to a data base.
