LAGOMARCINO-GRUPE COMPANY. The Dubuque branch of Lagomarcino-Grupe, was located at 136-146 Main Street according to the 1909 and 1915 local directories. They had purchased ORRICK BROTHERS as A. Lagomarcino & Company in 1905. (1)
The original business was opened in Burlington in 1875 and branches had been established in Cedar Rapids, Creston, Davenport, Ottumwa, Clinton, and Quincy, Illinois. The company handled fruits, nuts, vegetables, and fresh oysters in season. It was a fruit wholesaler.
