The wife of [[TREDWAY, Alfred|Alfred TREDWAY]], Fannie was one of the prominent women in Dubuque through her involvement in civic matters. She was a charter member of the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and served as regent of that group. She was also a charter member of the [[DUBUQUE WOMEN'S CLUB]]. Fannie served as president of the Finley Hospital Auxiliary and was active in the day camp sponsored by the Visiting Nurses.
