In 1913 the grocery at 8th and Bluff owned by L. M. Warren was purchased by Herman Schiebe and J. M. Straub. Both men had experience operating grocery stores and had until recently been employed at the [[MILWAUKEE RAILROAD SHOPS]]. (1)

CHARM GROCERY (THE). The 1909 and 1911-12 Dubuque City Directory gave the address as 4 Julien.

In 1913 the grocery at 8th and Bluff owned by L. M. Warren was purchased by Herman Schiebe and J. M. Straub. Both men had experience operating grocery stores and had until recently been employed at the MILWAUKEE RAILROAD SHOPS. (1)
