AQUOQUA (Kettle). (Unknown-early 1820s). Chief. Aquoqua, chief of the main village of [[FOX]], befriended [[DUBUQUE, Julien|Julien DUBUQUE]]. Absent while raising a war party, Aquoqua missed the visit of [[PIKE, Zebulon Montgomery|Zebulon Montgomery PIKE]] in 1805. Pike noted that the chief was also called in French "La Peau Blanche" (White Skin). Aquoqua visited with [[SCHOOLCRAFT, Henry Rowe|Henry SCHOOLCRAFT]] in 1820.
