The distance from town made attending games difficult. Land, known as "Olinger Park" because it was owned by the Olinger family, at the corner of 24th Street and Elm was purchased. (1) The Dubuque Colts, moved into the new Twenty-Fourth Street Park (later [[COMISKEY PARK]]) in 1895, the year the team joined the Eastern Iowa League. | |||
