In 1913 the medicine company was moved to a new location, and Haas continued his drug business in his own store.

HAAS, Daniel J. (Seelbach, Grand Duchy of Baden, Germany-1926). MAYOR. Haas, a former alderman-at-large, served as the mayor of Dubuque in 1910. In 1885 Haas came to Dubuque as a clerk for a druggist. In 1887 he attended the Chicago School of Pharmacy from which he graduated in 1889.
