WOODWORTH, W. W. (Herkimer Co. N.Y. (Jan. 1, 1817-- ). When Woodworth was eighteen years of age, he worked for his father's store. He remained there until he was twenty-one years of age. With his brother, he entered the mercantile business and continued this until 1857 when he came to Iowa. (1)
Woodworth settled in Dubuque and returned to the mercantile business with his brother. They continued until 1870 when he purchased and managed the JULIEN HOUSE at the corner Main and Second STREETS. (2)
By 1897 he was living in St. Paul, Minnesota. (3) He was living in Chicago by 1902. (4)
