WUNDERLICH, Henry. (Plauen, Saxony, Germany, Aug. 31, 1836--Dubuque, IA, June 7, 1903). Wunderlich spent his early life in Germany and received his musical education in Leipsich. He came to this country while still a young man and settled in Dubuque in 1855.
 
Wunderlich was considered one of the foremost musicians of this city. For ten or fifteen years, he performed with the [[GRAND OPERA HOUSE]] orchestra.
 
For most of his life, Wunderlich was associated with the furniture business. From 1876 through 1899 he served as the manager of the [[DUBUQUE CABINET MAKERS' ASSOCIATION]] at 429 Main Street. In 1899 he went into business for himself under the firm name of [[H. WUNDERLICH & SON]].

WUNDERLICH, Henry. (Plauen, Saxony, Germany, Aug. 31, 1836--Dubuque, IA, June 7, 1903). Wunderlich spent his early life in Germany and received his musical education in Leipsich. He came to this country while still a young man and settled in Dubuque in 1855.
