Tschudi, Leo L. (Dubuque, IA, Mar. 22, 1895--Durango, IA, Feb. 26, 1947). County Recorder.  Elected county recorder in 1926, Tschudi served from January 1, 1927 until December 31, 1936 when he was succeeded by [[WHELAN, Donald J.|Donald J. WHELAN]].

The proprietor of Tschudi's Tavern in Durango beginning in 1938, Tschudi was chairman of the Dubuque County Democratic Party from 1944 until his death.  He held a bachelor and master of laws degree from Notre Dame University.
