MILLER, Simon. (Grant County, WI, Feb. 5, 1861--Dubuque, IA, Apr. 3, 1920).  State representative.  Miller moved to Dubuque in 1886 and from then until 1891 worked at the [[MILWAUKEE RAILROAD SHOPS]] and then as a teamster.  He was elected the business agent for the Teamsters' Union, Local 567, I.B. of T. of Dubuque and served as president for three years and then secretary-treasurer.
