PAGE, Karl. (Dubuque, IA, Feb. 28, 1898--Dubuque, IA, Aug. 26, 1956). Page, son of John PAGE, succeeded his father as owner and operator of the PAGE HOTEL in Dubuque. He also served as chairman of the Dubuque County cancer fund drive, director of the Iowa Hotel Association and the DUBUQUE AUTOMOBILE CLUB, and head of the Finance Committee of ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER CATHOLIC CHURCH.
Karl moved from the PAGE HOTEL to 1797 Delhi with his wife, Emily, and son John. The house was later torn down to provide increased parking for HOLY TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH.
