Gartner, George C. (Dubuque, IA, Feb. 9, 1916--Dubuque, IA, Apr. 24, 1993). Founder, Gartner Printing Company.  From 1943 to 1949, Gartner worked for Varner Well Company in Dubuque and for many years taught guitar in Oelwein and Dubuque, With his brothers, he founded Gartner Printing Company in Dubuque in 1949. He retired from the company in 1977. A charter member of [[SAINT JOSEPH'S CHURCH]], he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Service Corps of Retired Executives.

Gartner, George C. (Dubuque, IA, Feb. 9, 1916--Dubuque, IA, Apr. 24, 1993). From 1943 to 1949, Gartner worked for Varner Well Company in Dubuque and for many years taught guitar in Oelwein and Dubuque.

With his brothers, he founded GARTNER PRINTING COMPANY in Dubuque in 1949. He retired from the company in 1977.

A charter member of ST. JOSEPH'S CHURCH, KEY WEST, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Service Corps of Retired Executives.
