M. CARROLL. It is believed that this baker was a relative of the people who operated CARROLL BROTHERS on the corner of 1st and Main. M. Carroll, future home of KNIPPEL'S RELIGIOUS GOODS, was located to the left of the building which housed the KEY CITY STEAM CANDY COMPANY.
The 1874-1879 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located at 129 Main.
